It might be the dead of winter right now, but, today I am sharing all about Zach and Abi’s Catholic wedding at St Patrick’s Parish in Elkhorn! Their summer wedding was gloriously warm and cheerful. So, I thought it was a perfect antidote to the freezing weather we have when I look outside right now.
We first met up with Zach and Abi earlier last summer for their downtown Burlington engagement session and we knew right away these two were AMAZING together. They fit together like a perfectly designed two-piece puzzle set! Their wedding later in the summer was super intimate, with less than 15 guests in attendance. They kept the guest list to their closest family members, and it made their Catholic wedding just that much more special.
After their ceremony, we walked around downtown Elkhorn and took their wedding portraits in all the beautiful hidden spots. We even had a freak rainstorm roll through right in the middle of everything! We hid together under the archways by this hidden garden spot we found. Rain on your wedding day is supposed to be good luck – especially if you can roll with it and laugh about it like these two did! Finally we ended up at Uptown at Friends on the Square. That is a total hidden gem in Elkhorn with the coolest intimate event space!
