Engagement Session at the Ice Castles in Dillon, Colorado
January 28, 2019
Happy Monday, friends!! It’s a beautiful wintery day outside here in Colorado, and so I thought today might be a great day to share Adam and Katie’s engagement session at the Ice Castles in Dillon on the blog! Ever since we visited the Ice Castles last year with our family, I have wanted to go back and do a session there and so when these two asked if we could possibly go there, I literally clapped my hands like an excited seal and squealed with pure delight.
And let me tell you, friends – photographing their engagement session at the Ice Castles did NOT disappoint! We were the very first ones in the park, and we were lucky enough to not have to deal with the huge crowds (so if you’re planning on going there for your own session, make sure you book the very first time slot of the day!).
Before we headed to the Ice Castles though, Adam and Katie met up with us by the Nordic Center in Frisco to kick off their engagement session with some snowy fun with their puppies, Nash and Shelby. They even took a ride down the hill with one of our sleds! We had a great view from the hill of downtown Frisco, and it was just the most magical, winter wonderland for an engagement session.
I can’t wait to come back up to Frisco this fall for their wedding, which will be at one of the local breweries there! In the meanwhile, here are just a *few* of my faves from Adam and Katie’s winter engagement session at the Ice Castles!
If you are interested in having your engagement or family session at the Ice Castles, contact me today because the Ice Castles won’t stay around much longer!
